CHILAPATA- THE LAND OF ELEPHANTS
The Chilapata Forest is a dense Forest of Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary in dooars. Chilapata has become a Favourite Tourist Destination for Many in the Recent Past. One of the main attractions is the ruined "Nalraja Garh", or fort of the Nal kings, built in the Gupta period in the fifth century C.E., the Golden Age of India. Other activities include Tonga rides through Mathura tea garden, boating on the Bania river and angling on the confluence of the Kalchini, Bania and Buri Basra

BUXA
Buxa is a village in the Alipurduar district of West Bengal within Buxa Tiger Reserve. It is known for the Buxa Fort. It is situated in the dooars in north bengal and it is the critical corridor with assam and Bhutan. Buxa is the wettest place of West Bengal (550cm).


JAYANTI-MAHAKAL CAVE
Jayanti is a small forest village within Buxa Tiger Reserve. It is located along the Jayanti River, forming a natural border with the Bhutan hills. It is popular with hikers for its views of the surrounding landscape and wild fountains.[1] A 13 km trek from Buxaduar to Jayanti passes through the dense forest of the Buxa Tiger Reserve
Jayanti also features a stalactite cave known as the Mahakal cave
JALDAPARA
Jaldapara National Park is a national park situated at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas in Alipurduar District of northern West Bengal and on the banks of the Torsa River. It was declared a sanctuary in 1941 for protection of its great variety flora and fauna. Today, it has the largest population of the Indian one horned rhinoceros in the state, an animal threatened with extinction,and is a Habitat management area .The nearby Chilapata Forests is an elephant corridor between Jaldapara and the Buxa Tiger Reserve.

PHUENTSHOLLING
Phuntsholing, also spelled as Phuentsholing (Dzongkha: ཕུན་ཚོགས་གླིང་), is a border town in southern Bhutan and is the administrative seat of Chukha District. The town occupies parts of both Phuentsholing Gewog and Sampheling Gewog.
Phuentsholing adjoins the Indian town of Jaigaon, and cross-border trade has resulted in a thriving local economy. The town has the headquarters of the Bank of Bhutan previously but shifted to Thimphu. In 2017, Phuentsholing had a population of 27,658.


SOUTH KHAYERBARI TIGER RESCUE CENTRE
Khayerbari is largely known as “Royal Bengal Tiger & Leopard” rescue centre. During the execution of the ban of animal show in circus, several wild animals were captured by the forest officials which included 11 tigers. The tigers that are being shifted to the Khyerbari are part of this group. Many leopard and cubs recovered from the tea gardens and illicit animal smugglers are also kept here for various reasons, like rehabilitation etc. According to forest officials this is a distinctive attempt unparalleled in the entire North East India.
PUKHRI LAKE
Pukhri Lake is a must-visit sightseeing destination from jayanti. The Pukhari Lake located at a 5-6 kilometers distance from Jayanti is great piece of interest to the tourists traveling to Buxa Tiger Reserve in Dooars. The lake is surrounded with greenery all around and there is complete peace one can enjoy. Just beside the lake there are many colorful festoons and a place of worship of the Bhutias (Buddhists)


RAIMATANG
Raimatang is a village inside Buxa Tiger Reserve. The unique location of the village inside the forest and close to Bhutan border and its beautiful surrounding has made it an attractive offbeat tourist destination of Dooars.
Raimatang does not have strong tourism infrastructure, there are a few homestay type accommodations run by local people. The rooms are small and the service is not much to write home about. But the service shortcomings are well balanced by nature which has blessed the village and its surrounding area with bounty.
BHUTANGHAT-ON THE BANK OF RAIDAK
Sited at the edge of Buxa Tiger Reserve near Indo-Bhutan border is a less trodden destination of Dooars called Bhutanghat. Buxa Tiger Reserve is the 15th forest reserve to be entitled as the tiger reserve in India. Located at a distance of 45km from Alipurduar along the bank of meandering river Raidak, Bhutanghat with its pictorial view and serene ambiance has ensnared the heart of many travelers. Endowed with rich flora and fauna, Bhutanghat is famous among the tourist for its scenic beauty. Cuddled in the base of Bhutan hill, Bhutanghat derived its name for its unique location.


LEPCHAKHA
Perched at the hill side of Buxa Tiger Reserve at an altitude of 3500ft is a quaint Drukpa village called Lepchakha Village. Buxa Tiger Reserve is a tiger reserve within the Buxa National Park in the Buxa hill of the southern hilly area of Bhutan. Sited close to Indo-Bhutan border Lepchakha Village is a less trodden destination of Dooars region which has recently gained its prominence in the tourism sector. The proximity of Lepchakha Village with Bhutan border makes the areal distance between Lepchakha and Bhutan's hill not more than 2 to 3 km. Tourist are attracted towards Lepchakha village for its surreal beauty making it a favored offbeat destination of Dooars.
